Text Message Terms

These SMS Terms describe the text messaging program offered by Vaalia Health, Inc. (“Vaalia,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

Vaalia’s SMS program is intended primarily for patient support programs, coaching programs, care coordination activities, scheduling, reminders, enrollment, onboarding, program updates, and other operational communications related to participation in Vaalia programs and services. Vaalia does not use this SMS program to send third-party advertising or unsolicited marketing messages.

By opting in to receive text messages from Vaalia, you agree to receive SMS/text messages from or on behalf of Vaalia at the mobile phone number you provide.

1. Types of Messages

Vaalia may send text messages in connection with patient support programs, coaching programs, care coordination activities, scheduling, reminders, enrollment, onboarding, program updates, and other operational communications related to your participation in Vaalia programs or services.

Examples may include:

  • Program enrollment and onboarding communications

  • Scheduling and appointment reminders

  • Coaching session reminders

  • Program updates

  • Administrative or operational communications

  • Patient support communications

  • Follow-up communications related to your participation in a Vaalia program

Vaalia text messages are intended for program-related and operational purposes. They are not intended to provide emergency medical services.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on your participation in Vaalia programs or services.

3. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges may be imposed by your mobile carrier.

4. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any Vaalia text message.

After you reply STOP, you may receive a final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive text messages from Vaalia unless you opt in again.

5. Help Instructions

For assistance, reply HELP to any Vaalia text message.

6. Consent Not Required

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving healthcare services or participating in any Vaalia program or service.

7. Privacy

SMS messages are intended primarily for program administration, patient support, coaching, care coordination, scheduling, reminders, and related operational communications.

SMS opt-in information and phone numbers are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Delivery Not Guaranteed

Text message delivery is subject to transmission from your mobile carrier and network provider. Vaalia is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Supported Carriers

Supported carriers may vary. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Eligibility

By opting in, you represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive text messages at that number.

11. Changes to These SMS Terms

Vaalia may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

12. Additional Program Terms

Certain Vaalia programs, services, or offerings may be subject to additional terms, conditions, notices, consents, authorizations, or agreements.

If you participate in a Vaalia program through a healthcare provider, pharmacy, health system, employer, payer, or other third-party organization, additional terms may apply.

In the event of a conflict between these SMS Terms and any program-specific terms applicable to a particular program, the program-specific terms shall control with respect to that program.
